The Master of the Curators

Greetings: Chapter VI of "Shadow" is my favorite chapter so far in my re-read. You get to see a bit beyond Severian's world. I also am a big fan of libraries, and this chapter also had echoes for me of other works such as Mervyn Peake's "Gormenghast".
