the ability to pinch off a smaller mateworthy and somewhat autonomous limb is an interesting one to attribute to the monsters of the sea, and it seems to resonate with Mother and Seawrack in Short Sun. I keep trying to establish some relationship between Blue and Yesod but I can't seem to get Apheta's home to Urth to create the blue green system and allow gene to forever deny that blue green is urth lune.
