Earlier, in my query to General (Five Star) Driussi, I wrote: Do you attach any significance to the antebellum occupational forces on Sainte Anne excluding the defeated French from helping to form a new regime, but the same a.o.f. on Sainte Croix allowing it?
What I meant to say was postbellum--not "antebellum--meaning 'after the war,' not 'before.' See why I never got better than C+'s in Latin? Robertus Borskii, Stupidus
