A Blount remark
I raised the matter of Blount and Australia with my learned friend John Bangsund <bangsund at pipeline.com.au> who scoured his CD-ROMss, his reference library and his commodious mind for possible clews. He found this:
3 quoted lines
Edward Blount was a relatively unimportant person (as far as Australia was concerned) in the Colonial Office in the 1830s. He was in favor of [gasp] Catholic Emancipation.
A bias, no doubt, sure to gain favor among people named Gene Wolfe, but otherwise perhaps not all that salient to Fifth Head. Damien Broderick
