The Apian Way

This is Sean Whalen (prion). Has anyone noticed that the Autarch Appian's name is a homophone for apian (bee-like)? Any connection with the Honey Steward? Also, most bees are sterile workers. However, when a bee loses it's stinger, it dies. Unless it's the Queen Bee, of course, which doesn't lose it's stinger. prion
