MattakWhorl

I understand from some of the same sources that mattak means "dried whale flesh" in Inuit. (I assume in a particular Inuit dialect--there's more than one.) Oosik and Mattak, like many members of Vironese families, have related names. Questions or problems to whorl-owner at lists.best.com
