If William Ansley is correct in his suggestion that the secret Horn possesses is the need for all humans to protect each other against being bitten by the inhumi--thus preventing the inhumi from mimicking human appearance and intelligence--it should be remembered that some human settlers went to Green. So any defensive strategy requires their liberation from (presumed) inhumi captivity. =====
