OT: Vance Autobiography

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I gather he was asked to contribute, but declined? I think George R.R.
Martin said something to that effect in the comments section on his
blog.

Odd - Wolfe has done so many pastiches and homages in the past. He
even did a story with Robert E. Howard's Kull (Six From Atlantis) a
few years back. (For the curious, it wasn't one of Wofle's best, it
was very short, and the anthology is out-of-print -
