This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I'm in agreement with the suggestion that Dorcas is pregnant. but=20
where is the evidence in the text to suggest that this is in fact=20
Katherine, Severian's mother?

Are we saying that Severian is the result of an incestuous=20
relationship (Dorcas' first child Ouen & second child by Severian)?

And how does this interbreeding produce the saviour? Surely the=20
results would be much less favourable....
