This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Sorry Gerry, I didn't mean to offend you. You have to admit that your choice
of listing Knowledge of God, Science, Economics and card playing was an 
interesting collection of activities in a discussion of ranking people's
knowledge against others.

You seem like a very competitive guy in your dialogue here. You once compared 
yourself to the scorpion who stings the frog giving him a ride across the river. 
I took this to mean you took pride in your competitive, combative nature. 
I didn't know mentioning it would offend you. Apologies again. Many times I 
have praised your contributions to this board and I still do so.
