Louis Geoffroy, Napolon apocryphe, 1812-1832: Histoire de
la conqute du monde et de la monarchie universelle (Paris: Tallandier, 1983). Originally published in 1836. Napoleon is not defeated.
Charles Renouvier, Uchronie (L'utopie dans l'histoire),
esquisse historique apocryphe du dveloppement de la civilisation europenne, tel qu'il n'a pas t, tel qu'il aurait pu tre (Paris: Fayard, 1988). Originally published in 1876. The Roman Empire does not adopt Christianity.
