Humans possessing inhumi
It's occurred to me that, keeping in mind the constant
emphasis on possession in the Long Sun/Short Sun
sequence, the identification of certain inhumi with
certain humans might be a form of possession: what if
Sinew has possessed Krait, and Pike has possessed
Quetzal (by blood, but perhaps also by spirit?) In
these terms, the ghost of Pike in LAKE would be both
Quetzal and Pike's authentic spirit...Just a thought.
